Some learning happens one to one. Other learning needs a circle on the floor and a weekend far from the inbox. These gatherings are where my work opens wider, from a spiritual retreat made for one person to a training for a room full of practitioners.
Individual Retreats
A personal retreat is built around one life. For a day or several at Soul Medicine Sanctuary, everything bends toward what you came to meet, whether a decision that will not settle or a grief that needs a witness. Meals and lodging are taken care of, so you can give yourself fully to the work.
Group Retreats
Some work is best done in company. Loneliness rarely loosens in a room of one, and on a group retreat strangers become fellow travelers. Each retreat gathers around a shared threshold, from midlife to the turn into elderhood.
Medicine Retreats
Medicine, as I use the word, is that which heals: movement, breath, deep relationship, and the plant teachers too. Medicine retreats gather in Colorado and beyond, wherever the work is legal, held with careful preparation before and integration after.
Trainings
For therapists, guides and practitioners who want to bring their whole Self into the room. My trainings range widely, among them Neoshamanic IFS and Psychotherapeutic Touch, and I also design custom trainings for groups. Current trainings are on my Events page.
Speaking & Workshops for Organizations
I speak at conferences and bring workshops to teams and professional groups, on subjects from touch and ethics in psychedelic care to leading from the whole Self.
Ceremony & Rites of Passage
Our culture leaves many thresholds unmarked: a divorce, a retirement, a death, an empty nest. A ceremony gives a passage its shape, so the old life can be released with honor and the new one received with witnesses.
Gather at Soul Medicine Sanctuary
Soul Medicine Sanctuary, on the lower level of my home in Longmont, Colorado, is an intimate retreat center, fully supplied for long days on the floor and for overnight stays. The space is also available to rent.
